I am officially 30 weeks and we are getting the nursery ready prepping for baby #2’s arrival. Here are my most recent Amazon purchases. Of course, we have a few more things to get – I’ll update as we go. Luckily, baby #2 will have a lot of hand-me-downs from Owen.
Hatch Rest Baby Sound Machine
This was one of my favorite baby items when I had Owen, and he still uses it as a toddler. The white noise is perfect for bedtime and the nightlight is necessary for middle-of-the-night feedings. What I love most about this baby product is that they will use it as they grow older, making the price well worth it! They have two options, the Hatch Baby Rest and the Hatch Rest+. The big difference between the two is the Hatch Rest+ is Alexa enabled, has a built-in audio monitor, clock, and back up battery.
Electric NoseFrida
Yes, you heard that right…the NoseFrida has leveled up! No more manually sucking snot from your little one’s noses. The NoseFrida was my #1 favorite baby product! Of course, the moment Owen started daycare he was sick almost every other week but the NoseFrida helped so much. When I saw that they now have an electronic version, I immediately added it to my cart. I will forever recommend the NoseFrida to new parents, so I’m excited to see how the electronic version works out. I included both options below because the original is a MUST HAVE! I’ll update once baby #2 gets here to let you know how the electric version is working out.
Haakaa Breast Pump
This is one of my favorites for nursing mamas. The perfect way to collect milk on one side while nursing on the other. With Owen it really helped build up a freezer stash as my milk regulated and before I pumped with my Spectra pump. I also hated to leak while I nursed, mainly because I kept feeling like I was wasting the liquid gold and the Haakaa was the perfect solution.
VAVA Baby Monitor
I wanted to get a baby monitor that would work with multiple cameras. I plan on having a camera in baby #2’s nursery, Owen’s room and the playroom so this monitor works perfect. You can have up to 3 cameras synched to the monitor, so a big win for me. I also didn’t want a camera that hooks up to my phone – I already have a ton of apps and I wanted to be able to do other things on my phone while still keeping an eye on baby. This monitor has so many amazing reviews, so I’m very excited to try it out!
Nursing Bras
Last but not least, an essential I needed to re-up on. I really didn’t like the nursing bras I had with Owen, so I knew I wanted to get new ones this go around. These had great reviews, so I’m really hoping they work out well. If not, I can always return.
